What do attendees need to know before class starts?
Bring sticky socks. If you don’t have a pair, the studio has a wide selection of super cute options up front! Or you could be like me and find an old pair of “The Grinch” socks!
How would you describe this workout? How does it compare to similar classes you’ve taken?
This was the second class I have taken at Club Pilates. The focus is on control and stability. You can really feel yourself increasing your stretches as you go! The equipment and set up of the class really set Club Pilates apart from other studios.
What muscle groups did this class work the most? Was it a great workout for your abs, butt, arms, etc.?
It was a full-body workout, but given that the focus is on control, your core is being engaged the entire time. I am already feeling it and it’s only been a few hours!
Did the instructor do anything to make the class extra special?
Mizelle was our fabulous instructor. She was able to keep everyone involved and most importantly, she helped everyone get the correct form so that we could get the most out of each exercise.
What was the most enjoyable part of the workout?
The entire workout was great, I never got bored or felt as though I was out of my league. Personally, my favorite thing about Club Pilates is the studio itself. Every person has their own station with state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of space to do every exercise. You will never feel crowded.
Any other feedback you’d like to give about the Suspend 1.5 workout?
I would recommend this workout to everyone. It will benefit every body type and it also accommodates all levels of fitness. I can’t wait to go back and try another one of the many different classes they offer!
