What do attendees need to know before class starts?
Plan to arrive to class five minutes early to set up your mat. Be sure to wear comfy stretchy clothes (leggings are great!). The room gets warm so I would be sure to have a water bottle on hand. No shoes are needed for this class, just wear a smile instead! 🙂
How would you describe this workout? How does it compare to similar classes you’ve taken?
This class was the perfect class to end my #30DaysOfFitness experience. I am relatively new to yoga and this class was the perfect way for me to do old poses and try new ones while breaking a sweat! I also was able to stretch out my body, really focus on my breathing, reflect, and live in the moment.
What muscle groups did this class work the most? Was it a great workout for your abs, butt, arms, etc.?
This class is a full body strength builder. You will be in different poses throughout the class that challenge different parts of your body. My core, glutes, and legs were challenged and there were times I wanted to stop so I would definitely say I could feel the burn! This class also really challenged my flexibility and helped me breathe into my stretches and really get the most out of each stretch we did.
Did the instructor do anything to make the class extra special?
Ashley is an amazing instructor. There wasn’t any point in time where I felt bored or like I wasn’t getting a workout. I really enjoyed her class and loved how she would always come by and make sure I was doing each pose and stretch correctly and efficiently. She really cares about her students and the practice as a whole and it shows in her teaching.
What was the most enjoyable part of the Foundational Flow workout?
I loved so many things about this class but truly the best part was watching and learning from Ashley’s practice. The way she teaches is so calming and motivating. I really felt like I could do that class every day with her and feel like a million bucks. The class is so good for you mentally and physically and that’s because of the way Ashley guides her students through their poses.
