For the more than 1.2 million children in Georgia who live in low-income families, activewear is a luxury. Roswell residents Lisa and Mathew Moore founded Moshyn to change that. The one-for-one online athletic apparel company makes eco-friendly tank tops and T-shirts that are manufactured in the U.S. or in international factories that are certified by Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production, which promotes ethical manufacturing. Any time you buy one of Moshyn’s fun tops, its nonprofit arm, Youth In Moshyn, donates a new gym outfit, including shirt, shorts and socks to a deserving child in the community. So far, more than 100 children in Georgia and more than 1,100 youngsters nationwide have received gear.
