The RxSight Light Adjustable Lens is made of a special photosensitive material that changes the shape and power of your implanted lens in response to ultraviolet (UV) light. In the weeks following a cataract surgery, the physicians at Georgia Eye Partners optimize the fit and responsiveness of your lens through a series of short, noninvasive light treatments. Throughout the process patients have the unique ability to adjust and preview their vision until it’s exactly what they want and need.
Patients may need up to 3-4 total light treatments to reach their vision goals. In the meantime, they wear special UV protective glasses to protect the lens from light exposure that may potentially change the lens. Once clients reach their goals one final light
