Rolonda Rochelle, Mental Health Champion, Aging Advocate
“You lack nothing. Everything you need is within you. Go discover it.” That is the mantra that Rolonda Rochelle lives by. After turning 50, the antiquer made the life-changing decision to pursue a career as an actress and social media influencer. The Dekalb CASA volunteer’s constant pursuit of evolution and self-discovery has shown her that growth isn’t tied to age, but to how we are willing to push ourselves, love ourselves and stay true to who we are at every stage of life.
How do you use your platform to inspire women over 40?
Through my platform, I create content that speaks to confidence and wellness, especially as we get older. Whether it’s promoting simple self-care practices or partnering with brands that uplift women, I do my best to lead by example using my wisdom, my distinction and my maturity to highlight how life over 50 doesn’t stop and that reinvention is always possible.
How do you plan to continue to spread positivity through giving back?
Giving back is at the core of everything I do. To me, it’s about showing up in conversations, supporting other women’s journeys and creating opportunities for mentorship and collaboration. We all rise when we lift each other up.
What do you love most about being over 40?
Being over 40 is liberating. It’s like stepping into a new version of myself that’s more authentic and confident. I love the freedom to embrace who I truly am, without worrying about others’ opinions. There’s so much clarity and peace that comes with age, especially when you’ve learned to prioritize what truly matters.
What impact do you hope to leave on the world?
I hope to inspire women of my age to feel seen and valued. When they look at me, I want them to see a reflection of themselves represented in the media. My goal is to transform the narrative around aging into one that celebrates it as a period of reinvention, growth and boundless opportunities.
