Kendra Lendsey, Pro-Aging Advocate

“I come as one but stand as 10,000” is a powerful phrase that resonates deeply with Kendra Lendsey as she honors her struggles and triumphs while embracing her own life journey. Being a wearer of many hats– author, lifestyle brand owner and public speaker– this pro-aging advocate is adamant about carrying the strength and wisdom of those before her to empower women, helping them define their own path, celebrating their individuality and unique voice.
How do you personally embrace aging?
For me, it begins with cultivating a mindset of gratitude. I take time to reflect on the experiences and lessons that have shaped me over the years, celebrating my growth and resilience. Rather than viewing age as a limitation, I see it as a badge of honor, a testimony to the adventures I’ve lived and the wisdom I’ve gathered.
How do you hope to inspire women over 40 to live authentically?
I strive to create a supportive community where women can connect and uplift one another. I believe that when we unite in our journeys, we foster an environment filled with inspiration and motivation. I encourage women to let go of self-doubt and embrace change, view challenges as opportunities for growth and, most importantly, cherish the beauty of their own stories.
How do you work to make a positive change?
My journey has been deeply influenced by personal challenges my family faces, particularly with my son’s autism journey. Navigating his unique needs has opened my eyes to the importance of advocacy, making it a priority to give back to the community that has supported us. By helping to organize workshops and community events, I’m able to share our experiences and promote understanding about autism, ensuring that other families facing similar challenges know they are not alone.
