The 5th annual Scrubs Party, which was hosted by Emerging Leaders for Children’s, was a roaring success. On March 24, more than 300 attendees came out to raise over $380,000 for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The sweeping views of Atlanta from The Roof at Ponce City Market were rivaled only by the colorful fashions of guests dressed to impress, which can be seen on the Best Self Atlanta Facebook page here. Throughout the evening, precious reminders of the party’s purpose were placed about the venue. Guests grabbed small binocular viewfinders to see the photos of kids who benefit from Children’s legendary work.
Delicious appetizers such as veggie tacos, mini shrimp po’boys, and oysters were the perfect complement to the 360-degree bar that served up creative cocktails. The crowd danced the night away under a white tent beautifully accented with bright lights along with pink, orange and blue decor.
Thanks to the efforts of groups such as Emerging Leaders for Children’s, Children’s can continue to provide quality healthcare.
