What is a lip flip?

A lip flip is a procedure in which a neurotoxin, such as Botox™, is injected into the muscle around the top lip in order to allow the upper lip to evert and have more of the red part of the lip show. This is often supplemented with filler to add more volume to the lips.

What is a lip lift?

A lip lift is a surgical procedure where skin is excised to decrease the distance between the nasal base and the upper lip and turn the corners of the mouth up. This gives the lips a permanent fuller, more youthful appearance. The scar sits completely camouflaged under the nose. This procedure can be done in-office under local anesthesia or combined with other procedures.
