Dr. Azy Esfandiari and Team Curate the Perfect Smile for You at Boutique For Cosmetic Dentistry

When Boutique for Cosmetic Dentistry opened in Sandy Springs this summer, Dr. Azy Esfandiari and her team had one goal—to strive for quality. They envisioned a small, privately owned boutique setting that would enable them to focus on the needs of each patient, keeping their well-being at the forefront of every decision. The practice embodies those initial elements of excellence, including highly individualized patient care, cutting-edge cosmetic dentistry services and compassionate, general dentistry that allows every patient to feel good about their results.

“We invest in the best, most up-to-date technology, and we care about quality, not quantity,” says Dr. Azy. “We are one of the very few offices here in the Atlanta area that offer Digital Smile Design—a service that allows patients to explore the idea of altering their smile before treatment begins. We can design a smile for our patients, and show them exactly what it will look like before they make any commitments.”

Dr. Azy’s success is also in part to the influence of important mentors throughout her career.

“Every person has that one mentor they look up to,” says Dr. Azy. “I am extremely blessed to have one so close to me who I can call, email, see at any time, and from whom I have learned so much.”

Dr. Ronald E. Goldstein, often called “The Father of Esthetic Dentistry,” has been her support system since before dental school into the present, offering tips and advice from who she considers to be the best in the industry. He invited her to contribute to the third edition of his book, “Esthetics in Dentistry”—a once-in-a-lifetime experience, she says, to be amongst many other colleagues that are experts in the world of cosmetic dentistry.

She pays it forward, expending the expertise she’s gained to general dentistry, including routine cleanings, teeth whitening, composite fillings and more, as well as cosmetic dentistry, including the latest technology for smile makeovers, Invisalign^®, and Botox^®, to name a few. Her five-person team is purposeful in its size, creating an intimate setting to provide dedicated attention to each patient’s wants and needs.

“We believe the best outcomes come from achieving our patient’s goals. It is always about the patient—what makes them feel their best,” she says. “We listen to what our patients want, before telling them what they need, and our entire team is invested in the patient’s progress.”

As a result, it’s no surprise her patients are invested in her, too.

“As mentioned in my chapter [of Dr. Goldstein’s book], I believe successful dental treatment is measured not only by the doctor, but also by the patient. The inability to fulfill my patients’ expectations and needs results in a failure—even if it’s the most beautiful smile to everyone else. I treat every patient as I would my own family member, and their comfort puts me at ease.”

Dr. Azy lives in Sandy Springs with her husband, Arash, and 2-year-old daughter, Sophia. They love traveling, music and local restaurants—a few favorites being Brooklyn Cafe, Rumi’s Kitchen, and Kaiser’s Chophouse.
